Bus Tickets from East London to Pretoria

the drivers were ok but not nice. they were rude to some of the passengers and only helped after they realised they were not nice. the lady who was weighing the suitcases in East London windmill also seemed slightly rude.

The driver and couligues were so friendly and competent, my problem is i was traveling with a small baby and i sat next to the toilet, before we even left east london people were using the toilet amd it was smelling so bad i had to cover my nose and the granny i was siting next to, until a stop i think it was just before portch to get an emty seat and moved, can u atleast get an airt freshener or somethimg that can kill the smell, the seat were not adjusting and charging pots were not working too, pls fix that.and the aircon that always hv a problem.

Bus was on time, and it arrived on time. No complaints. Speed was a bit high, but nothing major.

The bus was great but they dropped me in johannesburg and refused to take me to pretoria after I paid to go to pretoria. They said the bus isnt going to pretoria

The thing that i didn't enjoy is the part that the was no thing to charge the phone other than that i enjoy everything

The bus was not meant for long distance as it did not even have armrests or charging ports as the ticket had indicated. There air-conditioning was not working and no-one to direct us which bus was going to Pretoria passengers had to chase around Eagle Liner officials as to which bus to get into.

Worst service. Worst time keeping. Rude drivers. False advertising: no toilet, no xl sits, no plug points as the webside said there would be.

The bus had a strong smell of urine due to a leaking toilet, which caused the urine to spread across the passage. While we understand this was an issue beyond the crew's control, a simple apology would have been appreciated and could have made a big difference

I didn't enjoy anything at all, bus broke down and there was no communication from the driver's ended up Arriving at my destination 3 hour's later. Reckless driving as well. Horrible journey

We left 30 minutes late

The bus driver was driving fast and bad and also he was not communicating with us the passengers, he could not even tell us the bus stops and tell us to have few minutes break and was rude and very rude to even shout me for wanting to go to the lady's room.

Punctuality, is one of the factors that satisfied me. I still believe that students should get discounts😭

The bus didn't have working charging ports, even though they were available. Bus drivers were alright and drove safely and were professional.

Avoid Delta Coaches at All Costs! I traveled with Delta Coaches from East London to Johannesburg on June 25, 2025, at 16:15—and it turned into one of the worst bus experiences of my life. The bus broke down between Cathcart and Queenstown, and we were left stranded for 14 hours before any assistance arrived. Even worse, the company sent an SMS claiming help was on the way, but it only showed up 8 hours after that message. The bus itself was in terrible condition, raising serious concerns about safety and maintenance. This was not just inconvenient—it was completely unacceptable and potentially dangerous. I strongly advise against using Delta Coaches for your travel.

Delta's habit of changing buses and such ruin the trips as some people often get left by their buses because of confusion just like it happened to me today and I had to ride on a different bus that wasn't delta for the rest of the trip

I had bad experience for the second time. We had wait in Queenstown for more than 30 minutes and o only 1 stop and again in Johannesburg w waited for an hour the drivers did not wanted to take us to Pretoria they had to ask favours from Greyhound

The right from the origin destination was good but I didn't like the fact that when we got to Johannesburg we changed into another and on top of that no announcement we had to guess what's happening us the passengers

Didn't enjoy having to be driven on narrow and bumpy roads, that aren't actually National roads - the experience came with very unpleasant thoughts, must say.

Our bus got stuck at Cathcart at night for 5hrs. We had to wait for another bus, it came. Half way through we were then transferred into another Greyhound bus, such an inconvenience. We arrived in Pta at 12:00pm, when we were scheduled to arrive 6:45am in the morning. I am very disappointed.
