Bus Tickets from Queenstown, ZA to Johannesburg

I didn't enjoy the trip at all. Firstly, it was the lady who weighed our bags who was chewing gum. I found that to be very unprofessional. Secondly I was assigned to either coach 906 or 713. I thought I would be assigned to one coach. This caused confusion when the buses arrived. We were sent from pillar to pole by rude drivers. Thirdly, the bus was extremely cold and the drivers didn't care even if we reported. I almost froze to death. I wish I had not used your coach. On arriving at any stations, they would give instructions that we would not even hear. In addition, I sat downstairs at the back, next to a cupboard, there isn't even enough space for an adult there. I, honestly, had a he'll of a nightmare on your coach. I wonder what I will use in my day back. You have always impressed me but this time I was extremely disappointed. Hope you will address these matters.

Dear Intercape Customer Service, I am writing this complaint to express my dissatisfaction with the service I received on 14 June 2025 during my trip from Queenstown to Rustenburg. When I boarded the bus in Queenstown, I was told I would pay for my bags once and that I would not need to pay again when boarding in Johannesburg for the journey from Johannesburg to Rustenburg. However, when I arrived in Johannesburg, I was asked to pay again for my bags. I feel this was unfair and dishonest, and it has caused me a great deal of inconvenience and frustration. The people in Queenstown assured me I wouldn’t pay again in Johannesburg, but this turned out not to be true. I feel misled and fooled by this misinformation. If I had been told the truth from the start, I would have cancelled my trip. Instead, I ended up spending a lot of money I hadn’t planned for. I even had to borrow money from someone else just to be able to pay the additional baggage fees. I would like Intercape to clarify its policy on baggage payments and provide me with a fair resolution to this matter.

The bus delayed by an hour, along the way it broke and we had to move to another bus.We arrived in Johannesburg 3 hours later than our scheduled time.

Time was accurate but the bus was very cold and the seats are too small and not comfortable

It was a nice journey, I really enjoyed the ride. The bus was warm and the timing was perfect except for the charging area which was not working.

Bus was on time arrived early in Johannesburg But going to Queenstown bus was late and seats were uncomfortable 😐

The bus was more than 1hour late, and it didn't stop by any shop only pick people on the way

The bus was too hot drivers refused to adjust the aircon to our satisfaction and toilet had not water or not in a good working order. But the drivers were driving very and i felt safe on the road.

I enjoyed everything about the bus the trip was so amazing ohhh the driver 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰

I didn't like that the bus was 2 hours late and then there was no communication stating the reason why. But we got to joburg on time.

Apm is nonsense of a bus. We were suppose to depart at 5 pm, but recieved an sms to inform us about a 3 hours delay. Not only that, the bus did not arrive at 8 but arrived at 12 midnight. No explanation, no redress nothing. The drivers were rude. I will never, ever book APM, ever. Bad experience ever

I did not enjoy any thing because of the poor service i was suppose to leave at 20:00 ended up leaving at23:30 I've missed my Graduation ceremony

Bus was late and there was no explanation or update whatsoever. When buses arrived we had to ask for ourselves as there was no one who told us which bus to go in. They kept pushing us from this bus to that one. At least there was one driver who told the guy who was looking for our names on his phone to start with the elderly as we were tired of standing. He listened to him. After we left Queenstown to JHB I was so surprised to notice that actually they are very caring,heaters were on,music. They were stopping where they supposed to stop and they communicate with us giving us reasonable time for break. Driving so well. He even stopped at garage before JHB for us to go to bathrooms because there was no water in JHB that’s very caring. I had a wonderful journey. Thank you for this survey. It was for the first time I booked Delta because of my sister who recommended it to me I can tell you it was not for the last time. Low prices as well thumbs up.

I didn't enjoy it the bus was full and delayed.was told to wait for different bus😭😭

We were waiting for almost 2 hours at Queens town shell garage,the driver said they waiting for the money to refuelling the bus, the bus was very cold air-conditioning was not working, from Queesntwon the bus stops once at Ventersdorp for refreshments,and they know their bus don't have toilets inside but they stops once, the tickets said drop off is park station but their drop off is outside park station and that place is not safe at all, I will never recommend people to use delta buses.

It was really bad and exhausting,it broke down completely for a whole night and I'm really angry with you people.I hate you

The bus was late, no communication, it arrived an hour later when it finally arrived we were told that it's faulty we were transferred to cityliner. I am so disappointed with Greyhound

I didn't enjoy anything they just left us in Welkom, we went to the toilet when we came back the Bus is gone

The bus never pitched , we're still sitting here at Queenstown station cold with toddlers and babies,no update no communication even now we're still here,I regret it and it's far to go back home

My experience with IlulaBus has been extremely frustrating. What I didn’t enjoy was the complete lack of communication and the fact that despite having paid tickets, we were left stranded. The bus was supposed to arrive at 19:30 on January 3rd, but as of 10:40 it still hasn’t shown up. There was no staff around to help, and no updates were provided, which was especially concerning with kids and elderly passengers on board. The entire situation felt completely disrespectful to passengers’ time and safety.

Enjoyed the driver. He was very pleasant and drove very well. We did not have charging ports and air conditioning. We had to open windings for air as it was unbearably hot. The bus has no safety belts. That is a major red flag as road safety is major issue issue in South Africa. This needs to be sorted out asap.

Best experience ever i would recommend Ramalo to everyone. I was really satisfied and comfortable 😌

The bus provided was not in standard potrai on their web site. Chairs are too small
