I enjoyed the seat confort, but the driver was very unfriendly..I will ask him questions about the trip as it was my first time to take the bus from Boston to NY and he would barely reply

Greyhound was prompt in leaving on time. The weather was bad with a snow storm affecting roads to the west of Boston, so speed on the early part of the journey was below average. However, I appreciate that due to safety. The Boston South Station bust terminal has NO CONCESSIONS open at the time of this departure (0630hrs) so buy food the night before and or pick up coffee on your way to the station.

The journey was comfortable, began on time and reached on time. Driving was very safe. There could be more leg room between seats. It felt a little cramped.

Bus arrived late due to mechanical issues but they still had us go on that bus and it broke down halfway there. We had to wait for another bus to come and move onto that bus so we were very late

Terrible - I arrived ten minutes early and the bus in the gate wasn't moving, had it's lights off. 30 minutes later the bus driver emerged and claimed we'd all missed the bus, wouldn't let ppl on, could barely communicate. Finally relented. Got into NYC way later as a result. No charging, no wifi - overpriced!

Rating 1* because at least I got to my destination in the end and alive. For context, I had a train to catch at Penn at 19:10 pm, and this bus was due to leave Boston at 12:30pm and arrive at 5pm. The bus did not arrive at the station in Boston until nearly one and we took off around 13:10. No apologies or explanation, and no ticket checks. Frankly anyone could have gotten in that bus. I expected that with the delay at the start, we would get to NY with a lot of time to spare still. Wrong. We did not arrive to our stop till AFTER 19:30. Again no acknowledgment or apology for any poor experience, causing me to miss my train. I had to spend over a hundred dollars to book a new train, hours later for myself and my companion. I had even asked for the driver to drop me off at a bus top of his choosing on 34th street between 7th and 8th Ave, as I might have been able to salvage the evening and catch my train at Penn from there. Of course he refused to do this one small favour.

I expected that with the delay at the start, we would get to NY with a lot of time to spare still. Maybe 5:40/50 latest. Wrong. We did not arrive to our stop till well AFTER 19:30 Again no acknowledgment or apology for any poor experience. I of course missed my train and the earliest next train. I had to spend over a hundred dollars to book a new train, late into the night for myself and my companion. Poor route choice: when we arrived to NY, it was clear this driver did not know the directions as he was relying on both Google maps and a second individual who may have been a colleague or another passenger. He was expressing audible confusion about how to get to Hudson Yards! When we got to Manhattan, instead of going down the FDR or the highway on the west side of Manhattan to get to Hudson Yards, they drove down 3rd avenue and cross town on 34th street. It took us over an hour and half just to get to Hudson yards from 125th Street. Surely the driver for this established bus company would know that this was a bad route. I have to assume the driver had been this clueless the entire journey because that’s the only way I can fathom the nearly 7hr journey, when we should have arrived at 5:30/40 at the latest! The driver did not seem to know directions and was using google maps. He kept taking us through the most inefficient route. Also had to download their app to get access to the tickets. No pdf and no option to add to wallet. All the worse since, again, they did not even check the tickets in the end. Will not be recommending.

The driver was late, and we ended up leaving an hour later than scheduled as a result. The trip was then prolonged because the driver was using the incorrect navigation app and got pulled over by the police. Turns out, he didn't even have the correct app on his phone and then spent an additional 15 minutes driving around because he didn't know how to get back on the highway.

Horrible. The bus didn’t have ac. Stopped for an hour and a half for them to “fix” it and it wasn’t even fixed. Left Boston at 1pm and got to nyc at 7:30.
