I arrived at Atlantic City at 9 am, an hour before my scheduled bus. Instead, they rushed me on the crowded 9 am bus so I would arrive in NYC "earlier" so that I could catch my connection to Boston in plenty of time. When I arrived late to NYC, I see that there are way too many people waiting for the 12:30 pm bus to Boston. Apparently the bus had arrived early enough but they had not scheduled a driver. Long story short, the 12:30 bus did not leave until 1:45 pm and then they got the 1 pm, 1:30 pm off at around 2:15 pm after they scrambled to find drivers and buses. My scheduled bus for 2 pm did not leave until 2:30 pm. Barely an apology and my driver literally refused to answer the question that I had politely asked him. No apology, no voucher offer, just "business" as usual. These are all the reasons that I had stopped taking GREYHOUND years ago but had no choice this trip because it was the "quickest and cheapest" route. The conditions of all the buses that I round on were horrible. Most of the seats had holes and rips in them, the odor was atrocious, and the customer service was lacking to say the least. I will never travel through GREYHOUND again unless it is free!!!
