Drive too fast. Arrived 3h30 before time.
Would prefer to arrive later and alive.

When we booked our bus it was specified that it would include entertainment and Wi-fi. This was not the case and even more concerningly our seats didn’t even have Seatbelts.
The driver drove incredibly fast, resulting in us arriving just under 4 hours early in Bogotá. We genuinely couldn’t sleep because we were being thrown around the bus, especially because we had no seatbelts.
After the lady next to us vomited on our bags we moved to the front of the bus and the music coming from the drivers area was so loud that it could be clearly heard despite the doors separating us, the bus also smelt really strongly of their cigarette smoke.
The bus arrived almost 4 hours early at 4am in Bogotá. The reason we (and I imagine most people) book a night bus is to get some sleep and avoid boooking an additional night of accommodation. Instead we found ourselves in Bogotá bus terminal at 4 am with no accommodation and having had no sleep. I cannot stress how disappointed we were in this service, it is completely false advertising and we felt completely unsafe travelling with this company. We have got many night buses in Colombia and they have all been comfortable and safe- with this sadly being the exception.
Based on 319 reviews, the company was rated 3.3 stars on Busbud. Travellers were especially satisfied with the departure location and the cleanliness but often complained with the Wi-Fi. Expreso Palmira ticket prices on this trip start at US$20
