Amtrak Gainesville Miami recent customer reviews
I purchased a ticket with connection to the train. It advertised Grey hunt Gainesville / Amtrack connection in Lakeland FL to Miami.
First, the bus did not arrive at the destination pick up. There was no station or signs informing where was the pick up. At 46 minutes of driving around to find the pick up station. I received a call I had missed the bus. The train was deleted over an hour 😳.
I did not travel.

It was a good ride, it was on time. Wifi access was hard and the seat numbers were a bit of a chaos but apart from that all good. Didn't use the bathroom because it smelled. But in the whole it was an OK experience, the staff at the bus change was very friendly.

Customer service is the worst. The bus never showed up. When I called CS, will admit I was irritated(standing in 100 degrees with no shade for over 40 minutes ) he hung up on me. Had to change my itinerary twice. When the price change was higher I was charged. The second time the price was lower, I was not reimbursed.
According to users, the bus drivers were polite and professional. The buses were on time and had bathrooms available, which was appreciated. However, there were issues with unreliable Wi-Fi and discrepancies in seat numbering that caused inconvenience for passengers traveling together. Additionally, power outlets either did not exist or did not function properly.
