MapleBus has received mixed feedback from users. Many appreciate the friendly and accommodating drivers, as well as amenities like free Wi-Fi during their trips. However, some concerns have been raised about vehicle cleanliness and comfort, with reports of dirty vans and uncomfortable seating due to overcrowding or malfunctioning air conditioning. Additionally, there are mentions of outdated information and communication issues that could be improved for a smoother travel experience.
The seats were a little on the tighter size but they were still comfortable for the journey from Toronto to Ottawa. The midway stop was timed right so that passengers could exit the bus, use the restroom or buy a snack/beverage. Although, we left right on time from Scarborough, we arrived behind schedule in Ottawa by about 45-50 minutes. The journey was enjoyable and I would travel again on MapleBus.

It was first my first bus experience. I felt awkward to be bribed to leave a review for a bag a chips and bottle of water.. and rhe driver wasn't presenting this in a positive mood as well. I had no clue what was happening during this and communicated that too him. He ignored me and just got in the drivers seat and went on. I will bring my own snack next time. But I heard that not allowed.😡

For starters, the pickup point in Oshawa was pulling up multiple addresses so I ended up spending twice on uber. Secondly the bus was veeeeeery hot and uncomfortable- though the driver was very pleasant explained what the issue was (which should have been fixed since they are making money off the van) he tried to make us comfortable as much as his ability would. (I will give him a 5 star, he was very professional and pleasant) In all it was an ok ride.
