The driver from steam boat springs to Denver was 45 minutes late. Once there has was demanding rude and dismissive to the passengers. He lacked any fundemental understanding of respect or communication. He angered several passengers by simply ingoring there concerns and ordering them . around. I am a experienced Class A Hazmat and High Value Load driver of 39 years experience. He did not conduct a pre trip. He drove in an amature manor, he drove fearfully and hesitantly. The vast majority of the passengers were either angry or affriad of him. There were several older mature and professional adults on the Bus whom he he treated like delinquent teenagers. Between being late 45 minutes late and taking an additional 35 minutes to lecture us and grandstand showing us his authority he made us more then two hours late missing our connection. The regen added another 30 minutes. On the trip out to my destination I was assaulted with a retaining wall block and stones the size of potatoes. Injuring me in numerous locations. The security guard frozen in his tracks did not help me or call. It took a bystander calling 911 to summon Utah transit police. Utah transit police as it turned out were in the station the entire time. Since the security guard was not calling them they figured all the screaming was not serious. They said. Yeah, I'm not happy.
