everything was fine until the new driver took over in Salmon Arm. We got to Kamloops on time, but then a road detour had the bus take a crazy reroute that took 2.5 hours to Merritt (should have been an hr). There was a road closure that forced the detour so that's not the driver's fault. What is the driver's fault, is that he made no announcement to the passengers about the situation and the pending delay. When we got to Merritt, he drove through instead of stopping at the designated spot, and had to detour back through Merritt again (add another 20-30 min). Not taking Rider Express again.

I am impressed with your driver ! Daniel — very clear, expert drive, 1st class imhop.
Also, your coach is a very quiet, smooth experience:)
Understandably, the seats are made more for longevity than comfort, being narrow for me, and minimal leg room — and the reclining feature is definitely appreciable. Nice head rest, actually cradles for napping, etc ;)
Best trip of 50 lifetime….
Based on 4517 reviews, the company was rated 4.5 stars on Busbud. Travellers were especially satisfied with the ticket access and the staff but often complained with the WiFi. Red Arrow ticket prices on this trip start at US$109
