On my occasional trips to Pemberton, I usually drive but decided this time to try the bus. I enjoyed being able to relax, do crosswords, and take in the scenery. The fact that both trips were on warm, sunny days, of course, enhanced my enjoyment of my travels. I will probably take the bus next time I make the trip.

There was a big storm predicted on the day that I was supposed to head up to Pemberton. As my tickets were non-refundable I went to the nearest Greyhound station to try to reschedule my tickets. I was told that I would have to pay a $20 fee to change them. When I told the Greyhound worker that I did not feel safe travelling on the Sea to Sky Highway on a day when there was a rainfall warning as well as 90 km/h winds predicted, they were not accommodating at all. I was told to choose a new date for the tickets on the spot. As I work full time and would need to book time off of work as well as coordinate with my travelling companions, I asked if it would be possible to pay the $20 and choose a date at a later time. I was told that I couldn't. As I did not end up taking the bus my rating of 5 stars for punctuality is not accurate, but in the past I have never had trouble with the bus drivers or punctuality, they have always been great!
