The initial part of our journey was a little tense as our seats were not what we had booked. We later found out that rather than it being a direct service, we changed buses after 5 hours. The bus we transferred to had the seats we had booked. It was difficult as we do not speak Spanish so could not understand but this is not the fault of Rio Uruguay. However it would have been good to communicate, prior to the trip, the fact that we would change buses as it is unusual to do so. The drivers on the second bus were very pleasant and did their best to help us understand our journey. The seats were quite comfortable. We would not recommend seats 31 & 32 as they are right next to the toilet and the door kept opening and banging. The toilets could have done with a clean part way through the journey.

Comfy seats. After changing bus at Posadas, packaged blankets were offered to everyone. We felt safe all along the trip. Toilet was decent, personnel polite and pleasant. Unfortunately, USB chargers on the seats didn't work. No one explained how to enjoy sound for the movies playing on the TV. Finally, thank God for the blankets because the A/C was freezing cold.

Had to sit on the floor for the first hour as the bus was not only one and a half hours late but either overbooked or there was a large number of passengers who seemed to be paying cash to board. Once the bus emptied we were transferred to a nearly empty bus for the rest of the journey which went pleasant ly although arrived 2 hours late overall
